At the SWAT Challenge held in July 2025, our DT-810 Non-Linear Junction Detector (NLJD) served as core EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) equipment, providing key technical support to multiple competing teams. Its superior performance was fully validated during the competition.

Victory in the Arena: Gaining the Upper Hand with Precise Identification

The “Explosive Ordnance Disposal” (EOD) event was designed to highly simulate the complexity of real-world cases.

The competition began with the EOD operator entering the first room to rapidly identify six potential explosive materials using a spectrometer. However, this only completed the identification of the explosive ‘charge.’ The true core challenge was to find the ‘electronic brain’ designed to detonate it—the hidden electronic initiation device. This is precisely where our DT-810 Non-Linear Junction Detector came into play.

In the second room, the challenge escalated: four identical-looking suspicious boxes were placed on the floor, but only one contained a simulated explosive device. This tested the operator’s judgment and placed extreme demands on the detection equipment’s precision and anti-interference capabilities.

The search operator entered the arena equipped with our DT-810 Non-Linear Junction Detector. Their mission: to quickly and accurately make the single correct identification from the four highly similar options.

The precise identification by the DT-810 was the key to the team’s efficient execution of all subsequent procedures. Once the target was locked, the EOD specialist could immediately suit up, use a portable X-ray for secondary verification, and then operate an EOD robot to quickly and safely grip and transfer the object to the disposal site.
